For users that register on our website, we store the personal information provided in their user profile.  All registered users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username).  Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Comments from you 

When visitors (members and non-members alike) leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

After approval of your comment, your profile picture or avatar (if and where provided) is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media 

If you upload images to the website (e.g. in a forum), you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included.  Visitors to the website are able to download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Minehead and District U3A has in place a range of security safeguards to protect your personal information from loss or theft, as well as from unauthorised access, disclosure, copying, use or modification.  Security measures include use of cloud storage, firewalls, and a management database system.
