An additional opportunity for U3A members, Step-n-Snap is a fun photography group aimed at beginners or those simply wanting to learn how to take better photographs. It’s an online group which meets via Zoom to socialise and receive photography help, tip and tuition. With the restrictions of Covid this group was set up to encourage people to get out and take some photographs while enjoying being outside. Each month there is a theme and members take photographs and submit their 6 best. The photographs are judged and each month a best photograph is selected. Everyone’s photographs are individually reviewed and tips on how to improve them are offered. Previous topics have been trees, flowers and clouds.
