I am sending these documents to everyone who has an email address registered with us. If you have any difficulty in reading them, or printing them if you want to do so, please let me know (). You will not receive a printed copy of these papers, even if you pay for a printed copy of the Newsletter.
We hope you will attend the AGM – it is your chance to learn about what plans are being made, and to express your opinion. If you would like to ask any questions about these reports, please notify John Batt or me before the Meeting. If you are unable to access the Zoom meeting, as the next easing of restrictions will happen on 17th May, it would be possible for you to join a friend to attend the AGM. And don’t forget the Meeting will be followed by a Magician!
You may not be aware that, having served my seven years on the Committee, I have to resign at this AGM. I have very much enjoyed being involved with our excellent organisation over the years, helping to provide interesting opportunities for learning in many ways. I will miss it – but will certainly continue to be an active member of some of our groups. Thank you all very much for your support.
The Committee is always looking for new members. If you are interested in joining, please let me know, and I will add you to the Agenda. I’m sure you will enjoy it as much as I have. Alternatively, the Committee is always happy to welcome observers to a meeting, so that they can see what goes on and then decide to join.
With best wishes
Jan
