The important bit!
The Crime Fiction Book Club meets monthly on the first Thursday of each month at 11 am. The venue is Watchet Library, on the Esplanade, where we hope to enjoy the sunshine on the harbour in the summer. Cost is £1.00 per month for hire of library book; bring your own hot/cold drink. Please remember to check the Calendar in case of any late changes to schedule.
Our group is led by Lori Lee, and she may be contacted at 07935 318022, or by email at . Please note that this group has limited membership. If you are interested in adding your name to a waiting list, click here.
Our first meeting takes place on 3rd March at Watchet library 1.00-2.00pm and we are going to be reading this month ‘Window Breaks’ by Taunton author CW Ewan. We still have 1 place left if you would like to join. Next meeting is on Thursday 7th April at 1.00pm and the book for the month will be ‘the boy from the woods’ by author Harlan Coben. Contact Lori on 07935318022.
Latest:
We read ‘Harlan Coben’s The boy in the woods’ this last month. We all enjoyed reading, the main character was very thought provoking for some of us and the end twist a surprise for us all. We all felt it was set up for his next book maybe making a new series. This month’s read is ‘Claire Mackintosh’s Hostage’. We are not meeting in June as Watchet library closed for Queens Jubilee so next meeting 7th July. We have a full group of ten but please put your name on reserve list (see above).
