Member David Mayo was one of the first of our u3a members to take advantage of a scheme to offer FREE online access to those without the technology to enable them to take part in online activities. Primarily designed to encourage participation in physical activities under the remote guidance of a professional, the Amazon Fire project has also opened up many other opportunities to users such as David. He’s now able to attend our virtual coffee mornings and to keep in touch with friends and family. He could even have been able to renew his u3a membership from the comfort of his sofa…
