Yes the idea is all levels, Instruction can be give. I’m intermediate on a good day so will not be able to help advanced people much!

Thanks so much, Catherine for taking the time and trouble to write your notes – which sound just like you talking, by the way. They’ve taken me out into the countryside and shown me what’s going on. As you know, I have very little knowledge of plants (always been looking at birds) but google shows me what they look like. If you can bear it, please carry on writing. I’m sure a lot of people appreciate it.

Eileen Ann’s poem was lovely, as expected. She really is multi-talented – playing various musical instruments, and of course, her singing, and now she is also a poet. Whatever next will she delight us with?

A great story from Lesley Barklay, though I wasn’t sure it was a poem? Perhaps I misunderstood, and it wasn’t supposed to be.

Hi Jenny. You need really to comment on the page you are looking at – so your comment on the poem is attached to Lesley’s piece, and that itself comes from Creative Writing, and is not intended to be a poem!

Excellent. The reading is a bit formal – there could be some pauses to make more sense.

Absolutely lovely and how true. Have travelled to other scenic places but the views from the Zig Zag, Beacon/Burgundy roads and The Ball always take my breath away. Sometimes when it’s on your doorstep you take it for granted.
Minehead is a beautiful peaceful community and this piece is a fitting homage to that sentiment.

Great to see such a variety of interpretations for a ‘different’ Christmas.

I wonder whether our thoughts are clouded by ‘the light at the end of the tunnel’ syndrome!? Getting back to ‘normal’ appears tantalisingly close and it is all we can think of after practically a year of pandemic worry. Are we close to going back to life as we were? This is a question we could do with debating.
