We’ve had two phone calls (on our mobile phone) in one day, both telling us that our National Insurance Number has been “compromised”. Before they take legal steps, you’re supposed to press 1, which of course we didn’t do. It’s a recorded female voice, and the phone number was different each time, but each time the first 8 digits are identical to our number. Very weird.
