    This incident has brought out all the pundits – the conspiracy theorists, the environmentalists, and even, maybe, the art appreciators!  It came and went in a couple of weeks but I wonder if it will leave some kind of legacy.

    Interesting debate about the location of art works and impact on the environment and nature. What about Gormley’s sculptures at Lake Ballard and some of Banksy’s work could be considered vandalism by certain sections of a community. I think it was quite fun, a bit like crop circles. A pity it didn’t just disappear and turn  up somewhere else like the Space Odyssey obelisk.
