Northern Ballet’s spectacular production of Merlin, which was filmed on stage at Leeds Grand Theatre in front of a live audience, will be screened at the Minehead Regal on Saturday July 2 at 4pm.
This is a special summer promotion, offering free admission to accompanied under-14s, with adult tickets priced at just £12.50 ( £10 for students/ES40s) .
Inspired by the story of the mythical wizard, Merlin will take you on a sweeping epic adventure of heartbreak, hope and more than a little magic.
Choreographed by Olivier Award-winning Drew McOnie (Broadway’s King Kong and Baz Luhrmann’s Strictly Ballroom), the show is an enchanting spectacle in which the legend is reawakened through Northern Ballet’s blend of classical ballet and unrivalled storytelling.
The show, which carries a PG certificate, contains a sequence of flashing lights which might affect viewers susceptible to photosensitive epilepsy. The running time of two hours and 10 minutes includes interval.
Tickets – £12.50 (Students/ES40s £10) with under 14s free, may be booked in advance online ( https://www.regalboxoffice.co.uk) and at the Regal box office (Tel 01643 706430) between 9.30am and 12.00pm or by telephone only from 1.30pm to 4pm, Monday to Saturday.
The Regal bar will be open for refreshments from 3.30pm.
