Interesting debate about the location of art works and impact on the environment and nature. What about Gormley’s sculptures at Lake Ballard and some of Banksy’s work could be considered vandalism by certain sections of a community. I think it was quite fun, a bit like crop circles. A pity it didn’t just disappear and turn up somewhere else like the Space Odyssey obelisk.
