    Did anyone else watch the BBC programme how to improve your mental health last night?  I thought it was interesting that it included social prescribing – which of course we got excited about as a way of increasing the ‘reach’ and diversity of U3A members about 2 years ago! However, as a programme I found it shallow, and to be honest, fell asleep after about 40 minutes of it… was there anything of more interest in the later sections?

    I also watched this programme and felt that it was aimed at a wide audience so can be forgiven for not going into any great depth. I thought some of the coping mechanisms for dealing with stress and anxiety interesting. I think the overall of aim of programme was to encourage people who are struggling to not feel alone and seek appropriate help, which can only be a good thing.
